James Panzarella, MD
Dr. James Panzarella is a family physician who has been active in Primary Care since 1991. He attended Syracuse University as an undergraduate and then went on to New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn NY and at SUNY at Buffalo where he became Board Certified in Family Medicine. He has been active in precepting medical students from SUNY at Buffalo, as well as a Clinical Preceptor for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for SUNY at Buffalo, D’Youville College and Daemen College.
Dr. Panzarella has performed missionary activities in Southern Africa and Central America. He is a diplomat of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Panzarella founded Family Care Medicine in 1991. He specializes in preventative care, and care of the entire family from newborns to grandparents. In addition to diagnosing and managing acute episodic and chronic illnesses, Dr. Panzarella emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention.
