Dr. Yaron Perry is a cancer care surgeon and the Division Chief of Thoracic Surgery at the University at Buffalo. He is also the Medical Director of Comprehensive Center for Thoracic Malignancies and the Co-Director of Robotic Surgery.

Dr. Perry is board certified in both General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery and he specializes in the treatment of lung and esophageal cancers.

Dr. Perry uses an advanced screening program to detect lung cancer, using low-res CAT Scans. Dr. Perry has performed more than 1,800 procedures in the last five years alone, and he brings that wealth of experience to each patient he cares for. Dr. Perry also uses robotic surgery and minimally invasive surgery when appropriate to achieve the best outcomes for his patients. Dr. Perry believes in patient accessibility to their doctor. He never rushes his patients and makes sure no one leaves his office with unanswered questions.
